Abstract (en)
The switch comprises a box (20) with electrical connections (21) and a projecting spindle (22) with a flat side (23). In front of the box is a printed circuit board (11) having a series of contact points linked to a series of conductors (13). A brush carrier (15) fits between the switch spindle (22) and the operating button (6A) to move a contact brush (14) over the conductive pads. The brush carrier rotates with a spring detent mechanism (30,31) acting against notches (19) in its edge. The conductors are linked to individual sections of a fluorescent light display, or to a series of individual indicator lamps to show the operating condition of the cooker.
