Knife of the type comprising a casing (1), a blade (5) capable of sliding in its longitudinal direction between an extended position relative to the casing and a retracted position relative to the casing, and an induction coil (2) mounted on the casing and arranged so as to cause the blade to vibrate between its two positions. It comprises a plunger (4) disposed in the said induction coil and a small weight (6) integral with the plunger, the said weight being capable of performing to-and-fro movements through the action of the induction coil and of impacting shocks on the blade when the latter is in the retracted position. <IMAGE>

L'invention est relative à un couteau électrique, destiné notamment à l'ouverture des huitres, du type comprenant un boîtier (1), une lame (5) susceptible de coulisser dans sa direction longitudinale entre une position sortie par rapport au boîtier et une position rentrée par rapport au boîtier, et une bobine d'induction (2) montée sur le boîtier et agencée pour faire vibrer la lame entre ses deux positions. Il comprend un plongueur (4) disposé dans ladite bobine d'induction et une masselotte (6) solidaire du plongueur, ladite masselotte étant susceptible d'effectuer des mouvements de va-et-vient sous l'action de la bobine d'induction et d'exercer des chocs sur la lame lorsque cette dernière est en position rentrée.
