[origin: WO8501222A1] Hydrophobic fine pored membranes are rendered hydrophilic by coating the walls of the pores of the membrane with a hydrophilic material that is deposited on the pore walls by the reaction of first and second components of the hydrophilic material within the membrane. The hydrophilic materials include polyamides and polyimides, polyesters, polyurethanes, phenol/aldehyde resins, polyamide/aldehyde resins and epoxy resins as well as interpolymers and mixtures of those materials.

On transforme des membranes hydrophobes à pores fins en membranes hydrophiles en enduisant les parois des pores de la membrane d'un matériau hydrophile déposé sur les parois de pores par la réaction d'un premier et d'un second composants du matériau hydrophile à l'intérieur de la membrane. Les matériaux hydrophiles comportent des polyamides et des polyimides, des polyesters, des polyuréthanes, des résines phénoliques/aldéhydiques, des résines polyamidiques/aldéhydiques et des résines époxydes, ainsi que les interpolymères et les mélanges de ces matériaux.
