[origin: WO8501604A1] A method for franking a postal dispatch with the aid of a label (1) having a first part (3) which is intended to be attached to the dispatch, and a second part (4) which is intended to serve as a receipt or as a certificate of postage. The label (1) is made of a heat-sensitive paper having the ability to produce red frank-markings (5-16) at selected locations on the paper.

Procédé d'affranchissement d'un envoi postal à l'aide d'une étiquette (1) dont la première partie (3) est conçue pour être fixée à l'envoi et dont la seconde partie (4) est conçue pour servir de récépissé ou de certificat d'affranchissement. L'étiquette (1) est à base d'un papier thermosensible pouvant produire des marques d'affranchissement rouges (5-16) en des endroits sélectionnés du papier.
