1. A centrifugal drum for continually operating centrifuges, in particular sugar centrifuges, which has a formed, truncated cone-shaped drum casing made of sheet metal, which casing, for the formation of discharge grooves for the liquid phase of the centrifugal product, is divided into at least two casing sections following one another with a spacing in the direction of the drum axis and being connected together by connecting elements disposed on the outside of the drum and welded to the casing sections, characterised in that the connecting elements are designed as flat cover plates (10) which run in the direction of the cone generatrices of the drum casing (2), are distributed at equal mutual spacings over the circumference of the drum, and are additionally welded on the inside to the terminal edges of the casing sections (7, 8, 9).

Konische, spanlos geformte und geschweißte Schleudertrommel für kontinuierlich arbeitende Zuckerzentrifugen, bei der zur Bildung breiter Ablaufnute (6) jeweils ein schmaler Trommelstreifen herausgetrennt wird und die dadurch entstehenden Mantelteile (7, 8, 9) durch außen und innen mit den Mantelteilen verschweißte, in gleichmäßigen Abständen über den Umfang verteilte, ggfs. in ihrer Mitte mit einem zusätzlichen Ablaufloch (11) versehene Laschen (10) wieder vereinigt werden.
