Press-button switch for electrical communications equipment, in particular for radio and television sets, consisting of a pushbutton (2), of a switch element (3), for example a membrane switch element, with multiple contact points, the pushbutton (2) having a rectangular shape with a plurality of operating fields (4) and being inserted with the switch element (3) in an equipment casing part (5), it being furthermore possible to operate a plurality of electrical contact points of the switch element (3) situated thereunder by swivelling the pushbutton (2) arranged in the region of the operating fields (4) so as to be capable of tumbling about bearing points, characterized in that the pushbutton (2) consists of a cover plate (6) on which, on the switch element side in both outer narrow side regions of the rectangular pushbutton (2), in each case two splayed resilient supporting legs (7) form the bearing points, and in each case a resilient switching tongue (8) is arranged opposite the operating fields (4) in such a manner that the contact points of the switch element (3) can be operated upon swivelling of the pushbutton (2) via the switching tongue (8) associated with the respective operating field (4).
