Die Erfindung betrifft eine Löscheinrichtung für Leistungs- und Leitungsschutzschalter bestehend aus einer im Schaltergehäuse befindlichen Vorkammer und einem sich daran anschließenden Löschblechstapel, wobei die Vorkammer zwei zur Lichtbogenführung und -begrenzung dienenden seitlichen Vorkammerplatten aufweist, wobei die Vorkammerplatten (25) durch wenigstens zwei Querstege (28, 29,30) miteinander verbunden einstückig hergestellt und als Vorkammerblock (26) in die Vorkammer (24) eingesetzt sind.
