The sheets (20) free of elastic elements are fixed either to a mattress (10) or to a bedstead (40) by means of an attachment combination (30) which is generally comprised of the complementary parts of an attachment band (24, 31, 32). It is also possible to obtain such a combination from long hair cloth (21) and a complementary attachment band part (32). A complementary attachment band (24) may be stretched as a band about a mattress (10) or parts of a mattress if the latter is a multipart mattress.

Entweder an einer Matratze (10) oder an einem Bettgestell (40) werden die von elastischen Einlagen freien Tücher (20) mittels einer Haftkombination (30) befestigt, die im Regelfall aus den Komplementärteilen eines Haftbandes (24, 31,32) besteht. Es ist auch möglich, eine solche Kombination aus einem sogenannten Flauschstoff (21) und einem Komplementär-Haftbandteil (32) zusammenzustellen. Ein Komplementär-Haftband (24) kann in Bandform um eine Matratze (10) oder bei einer mehrteiligen Matratze um die Matratzenteile gespannt werden.
