Abstract (en)
A drilling and milling head for an NC machine tool has a fixed half (2) of the housing (1) equipped with a driving spindle (3) which is connected to the machine tool spindle by a coned end fitting (4,5). The spindle has a bevel gear (9) which meshes with a second bevel gear (10) which drives a second spindle (11) to which a tool (14) can be fitted. The housing (7) for the bevel gear drive can rotate about the axis of the first spindle (3). It is driven from a shaft (17) with a worm at one end which drives the worm wheel (15) and which is driven at the other end by a worm (19).

Fraes- und Bohrkopf fuer eine Werkzeugmaschine, mit einer antriebsspindel, die in einem fest angeordneten Gehaeuse untergebracht ist, sowie mit einem Antriebsmittel, das mit einem Zahnkranz wirkverbunden ist, der mit einem beweglich angeordneten Gehaeuseteils zusammenwirkt und wenigstens eine Werkzeugspindel aufnimmt, die ueber die Hauptspindel antreibbar ist und im Winkel zur Achse (X) der Hauptspindel angeordnet ist.
