[origin: EP0158203A2] Washing agents with controlled foaming and a phosphate content not exceeding 35 % by weight, preferably not exceeding 25 % by weight, contain 3 to 15 % by weight of a non-ionic surfactant combination consisting of three different alkylaromatic polyethylene glycol ether derivatives which contain 8 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical and contain 1 to 4, 4 to 7 and 7 to 12 ethylene glycol ether groups respectively. The ratio of the less ethoxylated to the more ethoxylated polyglycol ether derivative in each case is 1 : 1 to 1 :8. A further 85 to 97 % by weight is composed of customary washing agent ingredients which may be present in washing agents which can be used in machines.
