1. Cutter head for cutters, comprising a plurality of sickle-shaped blades (3) which are secured axially as an assembly, optionally together with washers (4), placed on a profile shaft and held torsionally fixed on the shaft by frictional engagement with the shaft, as well as a plurality of disc-shaped counterbalancing weights (2, 5) arranged eccentrically on the shaft and secured together with the sickle-shaped blades (3) in the assembly, characterized in that a counterbalancing weight (2, 5) having a predetermined centre of gravity is arranged with frictional engagement in each of only two axially offset planes lying on each side of the centre of the cutter assembly, each counterbalancing weight being matched with respect to its mass, its centre of gravity and the angular position of the latter to the resulting imbalance of the cutter assembly (3, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3) which is effective in its plane.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Messerkopf für Kutter, bei dem die Sichelmesser (3.3.1,3.2,3.3) zu. sammen mit Ausgleichsgewichten (2,5) auf einer Profilwelle (1) als Paket verspannt gehalten sind. Die als Scheiben ausgebildeten Ausgleichsgewichte (2,5) sind auf den Außenseiten des Messersatzes mit festgelegtem Massenschwerpunkt formschlüssig angeordnet, wobei jedes Ausgleichsgewicht bezüglich seiner Winkelstellung, seiner Masse und seines Massenschwerpunktes auf das in seiner Ebene wirksame Moment des Messersatzes abgestimmt ist.
