1. Method to reduce the emission of harmful substances, in particular for desulphurization, in the combustion of sulphurous coal which is transported as a coa/water suspension containing a coal component of more than 55 %-wt. over lengthy distances in a pipe line to the firing installation, in particular mineral coal, characterized in that a sulphur-bonding additive is added to the coal/water suspension in twice as great a quantity as would be necessary purely stoichiometrically on the basis of the sulphur content of the coal for the complete sulphur bond and the suspension is passed to the burner of the firing installation.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verminderung der Schadstoffemission, insbesondere zur Entschwefelung, bei der Verbrennung von als Kohle/Wasser-Suspension über größere Entfernungen in einer Rohrleitung zur Feuerungsanlage transportierter, schwefelhaltiger Kohle, insbesondere Steinkohle. Um mit möglichst geringem Aufwand eine Verminderung der Schadstoffemission zu erreichen, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß der Kohle-Wasser-Suspension ein schwefelbindendes Additiv zugesetzt wird und die mehr als 55 Gew.-% Kohleanteil enthaltende Suspension dem Brenner der Feuerungsanlage zugeführt wird.
