The nonionic surfactants are adducts of C2H4O and/or C3H6O at fatty alcohols and/or oxo-alcohols or esp. mixts. of fatty-and oxo-alcohol ethoxylates. The condensn. prods. are reaction prods. of triglycerides of higher fatty acids with hydroxyalkyl polyamines.

Als Trübungs- und Verdickungsmittel in flüssigen, aniontensidfreien Waschmitteln, die textilweichmachende, quartäre Ammoniumverbindungen und wenigstens 10 Gew -% nichtionische Tenside enthalten, wird ein Kondesationsprodukt aus Fettsäure und Hydroxyalkylpolyamin verwendet. Die Verwendung des genannten Kondensationsproduktes bewirkt ein ausgezeichnetes Viskositäts-/Temperatur-Verhalten bei der Lagerung und Handhabung der flüssigen Waschmittel in einem weiten Temperaturbereich.
