Stand with a frame (4), a platform (8) attached to the same, and interchangeable legs with a rectangular profile, there being provided a recess for the insertion of a leg maintained at a fixed height at each corner of the frame, the recess being formed by a rectangular holder (13), the inner dimensions of which exceed the outer dimensions of the profile of the leg, characterized in that near the inner edge of said holder an eccentric disk (14) with an operating handle (9) is pivotally mounted on a pivot which is parallel to the orientation of the leg, the periphery of the eccentric disk cooperating directly with the inner edge of the profile of the leg so as to urge it diagonally against the corresponding outer edge of the holder.
