To improve the fineness and cleanness of the fibres to be hackled in the processing of flax or hemp, the invention provides a continuous hackling process wherein the bast (1) is continuously forwarded by means of conveyor belts (7, 18, 19) and, starting at the tip and extending to the clamped region, is progressively exposed to the action of rotating hackle comb groups (8, 9, 10). The hackle comb groups (8), which are equipped with coarse needles (12, 13) and which are intended for processing the basts in the tip region, have a significantly lower circumferential speed than the hackle comb groups (10), which are equipped with closely set fine needles (15). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Um die Feinheit und Sauberkeit der beim Verarbeiten von Flachs oder Hanf zu hechelnden Fasern zu steigern, sieht die Erfindung ein kontinuierlich ablaufendes Hechelverfahren vor, bei dem der Bast (1) mittels Förderbändern (7,18,19) stetig voranbewegt und von der Spitze beginnend bis zum Einspannbereich nach und nach mit sich vergrößernden Einwirklängen der Einwirkung umlaufender Hechelkammgruppen (8,9,10) ausgesetzt wird. Die mit groben Nadeln (12,13) besetzten Hechelkammgruppen (8), die für die Bearbeitung des Bastes im Spitzenbereich bestimmt sind, weisen eine wesentlicht geringere Umfangsgeschwindigkeit als die mit feinen Nadeln (15) und in dichter Besetzung ausgerüsteten Hechelkammgruppen (10) auf.
