1. Transport container made of a foldable blank of carton, cardboard, corrugated cardboard or a similar foldable material, comprising bottom sections each determining one part of a container bottom, respectively, which sections are foldably hinged to the side walls of the container, the container being able to be assembled with a pallet made from wood, laminated wood or a similar material through the container bottom or by means of its bottom sections, characterised in that recesses (19) are provided in at least one of the bottom sections (13, 14) which lie on top in the case of the blank being folded together, which recesses form an access to a bottom section (13) lying thereunder and being placable on the pallet (2), and a free passage for attachment means (3) for attaching this lower bottom section (13) to the pallet bottom (21) in the folded state of the blank.

Ein Transportbehälter aus einem auffaltbarem Wellpappe-Zuschnitt (10) ist mittels seinen jeweils einen Teil des Behälterbodens bestimmenden Bodenabschnitten (13, 14) mit einer Palette (2) verbindbar. Um eine vereinfachte Montage des Palettenbehälters, eine erhöhte Kippfestigkeit und eine Diebstahlsicherheit zu erzielen, sind in ein oder zwei der Bodenabschnitte Ausnehmungen (19) vorgesehen, die bei zusammengelegten Zuschnitt einen Zugang zu darunterliegenden Bodenabschnitteilen bilden und damit einen freien Durchlaß für Befestigungsmittel (3) zur Befestigung zunächst die dieser Bodenabschnitteile am Palettenboden (21) bestimmen. Nach Einsetzen der ersten Befestigungsmittel, die vorzugsweise als mit Sägezahnprofil versehene Flachkopfstopfen ausgebildet sind, wird der Behälter realtiv zu den Befestigungspunkten aufgefaltet und dann an den übrigen Bodenabschnitten vollständig mit der Palette befestigt. Das primäre Auffalten wird durch die Ausnehmungen in den oben liegenden Bodenabschnitten ermöglicht.
