Abstract (en)
Two foamed plastic insulating layers (A, B) and a rendering coat (P) thereon are applied to the masonry (M) to be insulated. The upper insulating layer (B) is provided on its underside with an open hollow structure and forms together with the lower layer (A) a ventilation and drainage channel system which extends over the entire facade extent. The channels are arranged in two groups running mutually perpendicular and at 45 DEG to the vertical, and lead into one another. This provides a simple and inexpensive method of rear-ventilating the facade effectively. <IMAGE>

Auf dem zu isolierenden Mauerwerk (M) sind zwei Isolationsschichten (A, B) aus Schaumstoff und darauf eine Putzschicht (P) angebracht. Die obere isolationsschicht (B) ist auf ihrer Unterseite mit einer offenen Hohlstruktur versehen und bildet zusammen mit der unteren Schicht (A) ein Belüftungs- und Drainagekanalsystem, das sich über die gesamte Fassadenausdehnung erstreckt. Die Kanäle sind in zwei zueinander senkrecht und zur Vertikalen unter 45° verlaufenden Gruppen angeordnet und münden ineinander. Auf diese Weise wird auf einfache und kostengünstige Art eine effektive Hinterlüftung der Fassade erreicht.
