1. An outsole of flexible plastics material for a tennis shoe, in particular an indoor tennis shoe, in which the smooth unprofiled ground-engaging side has at least one insert forming a slip zone, comprising a harder plastics material which differs from the material of the sole, characterized in that the insert (4, 5) has an edge region (4a, 5a) which is flush with the ground-engaging side (3) of the sole, and an inner region (4b, 5b) which is set back with respect to the ground-engaging side (3) of the sole.

Eine Laufsohle aus nachgiebigem Kunststoff für einen Tennisschuh, insbesondere für einen Hallentennisschuh, in deren glatter unprofilierter Laufseite mindestens ein eine Gleitzone bildender Einsatz (4, 5) aus einem sich vom Sohlenmaterial unterscheidenden Material angeordnet ist. Der Einsatz (4, 5) besteht aus einem gegenüber dem Sohlenmaterial härteren Kunststoff und ist zweckmäßigerweise in einen mit der Laufseite der Sohle bündigen Randbereich (4a, 5a) und einen diesem gegenüber zurückgenommenen Innenbereich (4b, 5b) unterteilt.
