Abstract (en)

[origin: ES8605386A1] Training apparatus which can be used indoors to enable a footballer to improve his kicking strength, uses a frame (2) shaped to hold a football (12) resting on the floor. This is mounted at the free end of a horizontal tube (3) which retracts inside a structure (1) placed on the floor and which is returned by spring force when the ball is kicked. - The frame has a vertical front plate carrying a bearing bush (4) for the horizontal tube and a rear plate resting against a wall. Attached to the rear plate are resilient cables (7) passing around pulleys (10) attached to the front plate and connected to an anchorage at the inner end of the tube, to provide the spring force. Between the end anchorage and bearing bush is a helical spring (6).
