Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0159662A2] A supporting bolt for supporting cladding panels consists of a threaded rod and a nut screwed onto its supporting-side end, said nut being deformed by cold extrusion so that it has an enlarged end face at its supporting-side end and is of conical shape at the opposite end. As a result, it is possible to dispense with a separate supporting panel which is used with known supporting bolts. As a result of the shape of the supporting bolt associated with the pressing-on, an optimal introduction of the compressive forces into the threaded rod is also achieved. In addition, the cold extrusion can be used more efficiently than the hitherto required welding or hot-upsetting of the individual components.
