[origin: US4615451A] A suspension loop of synthetic material or the like is attached with its ends to the cap which is provided with a groove into which the groove is releasably insertable for compactness during packaging, transport or sale. The loop can then be lifted from the groove to perform its suspension function. Where the cap is provided with a closing flap, this may also have groove for receiving the suspension loop.

Um eine Aufhängevorrichtung für mit einer Verschlußkappe und einer Aufhängeschlaufe ausgestattete Behälter zu schaffen, bei der die Aufhängeschlaufe abstehende Abschnitte, die beim Zuführen zum Verschließautomaten, beim Aufschrauben der Verschlußkappe auf den Behälter, beim Verpacken, beim Versand und beim Verkauf stören, nicht aufweist, ist die Aufhängeschlaufe zumindest teilweise in eine in der Verschlußkappe ausgebildete Nut lösbar eingesenkt und mit ihren Enden an der Verschlußkappe in an sich bekannter Weise befestigt.
