[origin: US4607759A] A pilfer-proof sealing cap for use with keg barrels is arranged to fit over the disc on the barrel on which the tapping valve is mounted, and comprises a cover plate and a cylindrical skirt depending therefrom wherein the skirt includes inwardly sprung locking elements which engage under the disc. Inspection windows may be provided in order to check the condition of the locking elements which are arranged to break-off if the cap is removed or tampered with.

Eine Verschlußkappe aus Kunststoffmaterial besteht aus Abdeckplatte (6) und zylindrischer Führung (2). In der zylindrischen Führung (2) sind Sperrelemente (1) ringsum angeordnet, die durch Sichtfenster (3) sichtbar sind. Die Sperrelemente (1) greifen unter die Ventilplatte am Ventil eines KEG-Fasses. Beim Abziehen der Verschlußkappe werden die Sperrelemente beschädigt oder brechen ab. Die Beschädigung der Sperrelemente (1) ist durch die Sichtfenster (3) zu sehen.
