Equipment for the regulation of strip tension in a hot strip rolling train, in which the regulation takes place in the first stands to a strip tension value calculated from rolling moment and driving moment and in the following stands (1, 2) with the aid of regulating devices which, by means of measuring rollers (3) associated with a pressure measuring equipment (8) and urged against the underside of the rolled strip, by way of control equipments influence setting elements which effect changes in the rotational speed and/or the screwing-down of the rolls of the roll stands (1, 2), characterised thereby, that the measuring rollers (3) are arranged on a lifting equipment (5, 6, 7), by means of which a fixed biassing pressure is divisible between the pressure measuring equipment (8) and the measuring rollers (3) layable against the rolled strip, wherein the measuring rollers (3) are raisable out of a setting below the rolling plane into a predetermined fixed setting above this.
