[origin: EP0162584A2] An abrasive throwing machine comprises an enclosure 3 housing particle abrasive projecting means 23 and means for feeding abrasive particles to said projecting means. The projecting means 23 are arranged to project particles through an opening 21 in the enclosure against surfaces to be treated. Rebounding particles return with the enclosure and at least a portion of the rebounding particles are directed along the path 37 extending from the projecting means, adjacent the enclosure wall, to the feed means.
