[origin: EP0162953A2] In a ridge covering in which closing elements are arranged between the ridge tiles and the edges, covered by the latter, of the roof tiles close to the ridge, which elements are assigned to each one of the roof laths, are constructed as thin-walled plastic profiles and can be fastened, e.g. by nailing, so as to lie against the upper longitudinal end face of the ridge lath, the closing elements (14) are provided, at their longitudinal edges (34) facing the ridge lath (29), with fixing strips or tabs (28), projecting laterally and capable of being laid upon the ridge lath (29), and which, seen in the longitudinal direction of the ridge, are arranged at a distance from one another which is greater than the extent (1) of the fixing lugs (28) measured in the same direction, the fixing lugs (28) of the closing elements (14) provided for one roof side (12 or 13) being arranged between the fixing lugs (28) of the closing elements (14) provided for the opposite roof side (13 or 12).
