[origin: US4653304A] A rolling stand comprising supporting shaft pairs 3, 4, in which these supporting shafts are supported at two sides and so as to be adjustable in two parallel roll housings 1, 2. At one side, rolling rings 15 can be slipped on the supporting shaft pairs 3, 4, while the other side can be coupled with drive elements 16. The roll housing 2 remote of these drive elements 16 can be moved away from the other roll housing 1 in the direction of the roll axes together with the bearings which are pulled off the supporting shaft pair 3, 4. The supporting shaft pair 3, 4 can be secured and fixed in the other roll housing 1 in the resulting cantilevering position which is supported on one side.

Ein Walzgerüst mit Tragwellenpaaren (3,4,) bei dem diese Tragewellen zweiseitig und anstellbar zwei parallelen Walzenständern (1,2) gelagert sind. Auf die Tragwellenpaare (3, 4) sind an einer Seite Walzringe (15) aufschiebbar, während die andere Seite mit Antriebselementen (16) kuppelbar ist. Der diesen Antriebselementen (16) abgewandte Walzenstände (2) ist zusammen mit den dabei von dem Tragwellenpaar (3, 4) abgezogenen Lagern in Richtung der Walzenachsen von dem anderen Walzenständer (1) wegbewegbar. Das Tragwellenpaar (3, 4) läßt sich in der dabei entstehenden, einseitig gelagerten Kragstellung in dem anderen Walzenständer (1) festhalten und festlegen.
