Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a cylinder bolt mechanism in a repeating firearm with receiver and bolt, comprising a bolt body (5) with a mainspring (56) and a firing pin (11), a rotatable bolt head (9), a handle (13), and locking means (4) in the receiver interacting with the bolt head. The handle is designed as a lever mechanism, rotatable in a plane about a hinge (25), the centre axis of which is perpendicular to said plane, said plane being parallel to a plane coinciding with the centre axis of the firing pin. Transmission means (14) are arranged to transform the turning movement of the handle about said hinge into a turning movement of the bolt head (9) in relation to the bolt body and a pushing back of the firing pin, the pulling back of the handle thereby causing a compression of the mainspring.
