[origin: EP0163592A2] The invention relates to a matrix print head with an adjustable print wire guide, the print wire adjusting assembly with the print wire adjusting drive and the guide mouthpiece attached to the resilient adjusting member being arranged between the print abutment and the print wire drive assembly. <??>In order to achieve precise adjustment for the guide mouthpiece with production tolerances which are easily observed, with a flat structure in the region of the guide mouthpiece, with simple assembly and with adequate adjustability of those parts which are important for functioning, it is proposed according to the invention that the adjusting member (12) be arranged to extend approximately parallel to the print wires (3) in the region of the print wires (3), in contact with the magnetic core (17a) of an electromagnet (17) which lies approximately parallel to the adjusting member (12), and that an armature bridge (18) connected to the magnetic core (17a) forms the working air-gap (19) together with the adjusting member (12). <IMAGE>
