[origin: US4645885A] In an endless conveyor with a plurality of load carriers, current collectors are associated with the load carriers and each exhibit an input part and a current collecting part. The current collecting part is mounted on the load carriers rotatably relative to the input part. Contact arms attached to the current collecting part are in contact with sliding contact rails. The current collected from the sliding contact rails passes via the contact arms, the current collecting part and sliding contacts connected to the current collecting part to the input part and from there to the respective load carrier.

Bei einem Umlaufförderer mit mehreren Lastträgern (1) sind den Lastträgern (1) Stromabnehmer (10) zugeordnet, die jeweils einen Einspeisungsteil (3) und einen Stromabnahmeteil (14) aufweisen. Der Stromabnahmeteil (14) ist dabei drehbar gegennüber dem Einspeisungsteil (3) an den Lastträgern (1) gelagert. Am Stromabnahmeteil (14) angebrachte Kontaktarme (15) liegen gegen Schleifleitungsschienen (16) an. Der von den Schleifleitungsschienen (16) abgenommene Strom gelangt über die Kontaktarme (15), den Stromabnahmeteil (14) und mit dem Stromabnahmeteil (14) verbundene Schleifkontakte (18) zum Einspeisungsteil (3) und von hier zum jeweiligen Lastträger (1).
