Boiler combined with a coal dryer formed as a rotary drum dryer and a dust removal plant, including a raw coal feeder (2), a charge (8), a coal dust precipitator and a flue gas blower (9), wherein the rotary drum dryer (3) is arranged between the raw coal feeder (2) and a separator apparatus (5) provided in front of the charge (8) of the boiler (13), and a suction opening of the flue gas blower (9) is connected via a suction pipe (11) to the separator apparatus (5), and a centrifugal precipitator (10) for coal dust is inserted into the suction pipe (11), characterised in that a) the separator apparatus is an essentially vertical separator tube (5) which is connected at its upper end with the rotary drum dryer (3) and at its lower end with a suction shaft (14) for introducing flue gases from the fire box of the boiler, and b) that a suction connecting piece of the same suction opening of the flue gas blower (9) is connected via a pipe (12) to a connecting piece of the rotary drum dryer (3).
