1. An intermediate strip for fixing to an external face of a pile of flat glass sheets comprising specifically a paper honeycomb both sides of which are covered with kraft paper, characterised in that into the intermediate strips (1) are formed recesses (5) in which are fixed at least one elastic suction cup each, and in that the open sides of the suction cups are designed to project beyond the surface (2) of the strip surrounding them in the non-compressed state and to be flush with these surfaces when the strip is pressed against a flat glass sheet.

Aus einer streifenförmigen Zwischenlage zum Befestigen an einer äußeren Flachglasscheibe eines Stapeis von Flachglasscheiben sind Vertiefungen (5) ausgeformt, in denen je ein elastischer Saugnapf (7) fest angebracht ist. Der Saugnapf ist bezüglich der Vertiefung (5) so bemessen, daß er im unbelasteten Zustand mit seiner offenen Seite über die an die Vertiefung angrenzenden Oberflächen (Kraftpapier 2) der Zwischenlage (1) herausragt, aber im an die Flachglasscheibe angedrückten Zustand mit diesen Oberflächen abschließt. Die streifenförmige Zwischenlage kann aus Holz, Spanplattenmaterial, Kunststoff bestehen, ist jedoch vorzugsweise aus beidseitig mit Kraftpapier beklebten Papierwaben hergestellt.
