Abstract (en)

1. Device for monitoring the open or closed state of at least one electric contact (1) comprising a movable portion (1a) and a fixed portion (1b), by the passage of an electric current between said movable and fixed portions of said contact, characterized in that it comprises a light source (7, 9), a photovoltaïc generator (2) excitable by said light source a liquid crystal system (3) mounted in series with said at least one contact (1) at the terminals of asid photovoltaïc generator (2) and having two different optical states according to whether it is traversed by the current generated by said photovoltaïc generator or not, and means (4, 5, 9 to 13, 19, 20) for detecting and exploiting the states of said liquid crystal system (3).

Dispositif pour contrôler l'état ouvert ou fermé d'au moins un contact électrique (1) comportant une partie mobile (1a) et une partie fixe (1b), par passage d'un courant électrique entre lesdites parties fixes et mobiles dudit contact. Selon l'invention, ce dispositif comporte une source lumineuse (7, 9), un générateur photovoltatïque (2) susceptible d'être excité par ladite source lumineuse, un système à cristaux liquides (3) monté en série avec le ou les contacts (1) aux bornes dudit générateur photovoltaîque (2) et présentant deux états optiques différents suivant qu'il est ou non traversé par le courant engendré par ledit générateur photovoltaïque et des moyens (4, 5, 9, à 13) pour détecter et exploiter les états dudit système à cristaux liquides (3).
