1. A packaging device for bar-shaped articles, especially plies of adjacent, flat, disk-shaped objects, such as biscuits, comprising clamping arrangements (10, 11) arranged on a rotatable, wheel-shaped support and open radialy outwardly for holding a wrapping material sheet pushed into the clamping arrrangement together with the articles, and comprising two end folders (13, 14) positioned to the side of each clamping arrangement and carried by folder carriers (5, 9), the distance between said end folders (13, 14) being adjustable of form a first, end fold of the wrapping material sheet when the latter is pushed into the respective clamping arrangement, characterized in that the rotary drive shaft (2) o fhte above-mentioned support is constructed as a hollow shaft, to which a first folder carrier (9) carrying the one end folder (13) is fastened rotatably and axially displaceably, in that an adjusting shaft (3) is guided in the rotary drive shaft (2) axially displaceable and carries the second folder carrier (5) carrying the other end folder (14), and in that the two folder carriers (5, 9) are each connected rigidly with a gear rack (6, 22), these being arranged parallel to each other and meshing at opposite points with a fixed but rotatably supported gear (17).

Bei einem Faltrad einer Verpackungsmaschine zur Bildung von stangenförmigen Verpackungen mit Stirnverschlüssen sind an einem Klammerrad (4) mehrere Klammerpaare (10, 11) angeordnet. Zwischen jedem dieser Klammerpaare (10, 11) befindet sich ein Paar Stirnfalter (13, 14). Das Klammerrad (4) trägt ausserdem noch Verschiebehalter (71) für einen Falterring (9), an dem die einen Stirnfalter (13) befestigt sind. Ein Falterrad (5) ist axialverschieblich mit einer Verstellwelle (3) innerhalb der Antriebswelle (2) für das Klammerrad (4) geführt und trägt seinerseits die anderen Stirnfalter (14). Mittels Zahnstangen (16, 22) und einem Zahnrad (17) wird eine axiale Verschiebung des Falterrades (3) gegenläufig auf den Falterring (9) übertragen und damit kann der Abstand Zwischen den beiden Stirnfaltern (13, 14) bezüglich symmetrisch zu einer Mittelebene verändert werden. Dadurch können Längenänderungen der Verpackungen ohne Auswechseln von Teilen rasch durchgeführt werden.
