[origin: WO8502234A1] Joint unit for hollow profiles, e.g. aluminium profiles which joint unit (1) has a body element (2) with legs (3, 4, 5) projecting from this and the legs (3, 4, 5) fitting into the hollow space of the profiles (6, 7, 8). The joint unit (1) is made from extruded hollow profiles as cuts transverse to the longitudinal direction of the profile. The cross section of the profile forms the cross section of the unit (1) through its legs (3, 4, 5). The unit (1) is cut of the hollow profile in a thickness corresponding to the internal diameter of the profiles to be joint. The joint unit can also consist of a body element, to which legs in the shape of bended plate elements are fixed. In a further embodiment the body element is filled up with a material, in which thread can be made. The legs are then formed by a tube being screwed up to the body.

Un joint (1) pour des profilés creux, p.ex. des profilés en aluminium, possède un élément de corps (2) avec des jambes (3, 4, 5) faisant saillie par rapport à ce corps, les jambes (3, 4, 5) s'adaptant dans l'espace creux des profilés (6, 7, 8). Le joint (1) est constitué à partir de profilés creux extrudés sous la forme d'entailles transversales à l'axe longitudinal du profilé. La section du profilé forme la section du joint (1) au travers des jambes (3, 4, 5). Le joint (1) est coupé du profilé creux dans une épaisseur correspondant au diamètre intérieur des profilés à joindre. Le joint peut également consister en un élément de corps auquel des jambes ayant la forme de plaques pliées sont fixées. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'élément de corps est rempli d'un matériau dans lequel un filetage peut être réalisé. Les jambes sont ensuite formées par un tube vissé sur le corps.
