[origin: WO8502478A1] Luminous display device comprising at least one front panel provided with a regular network of openings, each of which being associated to one end downstream of a light conductor and to a closing member controlled by an electromagnet, the upstream end of the light conductors being associated to a light source. It substantially comprises a closing member formed by a body (60) provided with an axial bore (71) intended to house the downstream end of a light conductor. Said body carries a stator (71) provided with energization coils (72) and a bipolar magnet (63) rotating about an axis (69). The bipolar magnet (63) is connected to a spherical bowl (76) susceptible of pivoting about the axis (69) between a closing position wherein the downstream end of the light conductor section is occulted and a lighting position wherein the downstream end of said light conductor appears as a luminous point in an opening of the front panel. Said device enables to display messages in a fixed, variable or continuously running mode.
