[origin: US4628968A] The guide for the weft-picking element of a weaving machine is formed of alternating supports and hooks which complement one another in pairs to form a guide tooth. Each support is single armed while each adjacent hook widens towards the guide passage in order to form a support surface for the picking element. The construction ensures that a warp yarn which may jump from one lane into another lane through the guide is not overstretched.

Die Führungsvorrichtung für Schussfadeneintragsorgane für Greiferprojektil-Webmaschinen besitzt Führungsstützen (3) und Führungshaken (4), die jeweils paarweise komplementär einen Führungszahn (6) bilden. Die Führungsstütze (3) ist einschenkelig angeführt. Der Führungshaken (4) ist zum Führungskanal (8) hin verbreitert um eine Stützfläche (22) für das Projektil (9) zu bilden. Die Ausführung verhindert, dass ein Kettfaden beim eventuellen Ueberspringen aus seiner Gasse in eine benachbarte Gasse überdehnt wird.
