Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0165334A1] 1. Trigger device with a rear set trigger for small arms, in which there are arranged a trigger sear (2), pivotable in a housing (1), this trigger sear blocking the cocked firing pin in one of its pivot positions, a trigger rod (3) supporting the trigger sear in one of its pivot positions so as to hold it in its pivot position blocking the firing pin, a trigger (4) which, when operated in its trigger direction, pivots the trigger rod into its other pivot position releasing the trigger sear, and a pin cocking lever (5) which can be cocked by the trigger when it is operated counter to its trigger direction, wherein a safety element in its securing position prevents operation of the trigger in the trigger direction, characterized in that the trigger sear (2) is biased by a spring (8) into its pivot position blocking the cocked firing pin and is forced into its other pivot position by the released firing pin, in the latter pivot position restraining the pin cocking lever (5) in its released pivot position, in that when the trigger (4) is operated counter to the trigger direction it engages on the pin cocking lever (5), deflects this into the cocked position and retains it there in an unstable equilibrium, and in that the safety element (6) is a slide which, on being transferred from the released position to the securing position, disarms the cocked pin cocking lever (5), and which in its securing position blocks the trigger rod (3) against a release of the trigger sear (2) and blcoks the trigger (4) against operation also in the direction counter to the trigger direction.
