The container (1) is used for transporting agricultural and horticultural products from the producer to the end user without repackaging. For this purpose, the individual containers (1) are provided with means for connecting them which can also be detached again so that the containers can be grouped together to form compact rectangular crates (23). The size of the containers is matched to the transport unit of the crate (23). The individual containers (1) are delivered to the site of use as a flat, space-saving structure. <IMAGE>

Dargestellt ist ein Verpackungsbehälter (1) für landwirtschaftliche und gärtnerische Erzeugnisse, um diese vom Erzeuger zum Endverbraucher ohne Umpacken zu transportieren. Dazu sind die einzelnen Verpackungsbehälter (1) mit Mitteln zum Verbinden und auch wieder Lösen versehen, so daß die Verpackungsbehälter zu kompakten rechteckigen Steigen (23) zusammengesetzt werden können. Die Größe der Behälter ist auf die Transporteinheit der Steige (23) abgestimmt. Die einzelnen Behälter (1) werden zum Ort der Verwendung als flaches raumsparendes Gebilde angeliefert.
