1. A vertical mill, in particular a roller mill for crushing coal, with two crushing rings or bowls arranged one above the other, one of which is non-rotational and the other one of which can be rotated by a motor, with crushing rollers or balls running between the crushing rings so as to comminute the material being crushed and with a nozzle ring which is arranged around the lower crushing ring (2) and through which a gas can be blown from below into the region of the crushing rollers, the nozzle ring comprising a plurality of peripherally spaced nozzle segments (4), in which the nozzle ducts are bounded on three sides by parts of the nozzle segments (6, 17) and are open towards the lower crushing ring (2), characterised in that the nozzle segments (4), which are displaceable in the radial direction, can be secured to a support ring (3) at different spacings from the lower crushing ring (2), and in that it has protective segments (5) to cover the securing means (9 to 12) for the nozzle segments (4), which are of the same length as the nozzle segments (4) in the peripheral direction.

Die Vertikalmühle mit zwei übereinander angeordneten Mahlringen weist einen Düsenring auf, durch den Luft hindurchgeblasen wird, um das Feingut in den Sichter zu transportieren. Der Düsenring besteht aus mehreren Düsensegmenten (4), die an einem Tragring befestigbar sind und sich in Umfangsrichtung aneinander anschließen. Sie sind dabei in Radialrichtung in verschiedenen Stellungen befestigbar, so daß verschieden große Düsenquerschnitte zwischen Düsensegment und benachbartem Mahlring eingestellt werden können. Die Befestigungseinrichtungen (9, 10, 11, 12) für die Düsensegmente (4) sind dabei durch Schutzsegmente (5) abgedeckt, die die gleiche radiale Erstreckung wie die Düsensegmente (4) haben. Sowohl Düsensegmente (4) als auch Schutzsegmente (5) sind einzeln bei zu großem Verschleiß auswechselbar.
