[origin: US4636143A] A propeller for gaseous and fluidic media, particularly an air propeller which is formed with at least one vane mounted to a hub of the propeller and rotatable about a central axis of the propeller. The vane includes two blades extended in the radial direction of the vane. The blades are spaced from each other by an elongated slot formed in the vane and extended in the radial direction of the vane. The slot has the length which is about 40 to 50% of the length of the radius of the vane, defined between the center of rotation of the vane and its tip.
