[origin: WO8600198A1] The helmet comprises an outer protection shell (1), a shock absorption layer (2) made of a non elastically compressible material and a layer (4) of an elastically compressible material. Between the layer (4) and the shock absorption layer (2), there is arranged a cap (3). This cap (3) is obtained by hot drawing of a sheet material having a thickness comprised between 0.3 and 0.5 mm of which the elasticity modules is between 1800 and 35000 N/mm<2>, the elongation at rupture is smaller than 100% and the resistance to tension is comprised between 30 and 100 N/mm<2>.

Ce casque comporte une coque extérieure de protection (1), une couche d'absorption d'impact (2) en un matériau non élastiquement compressible et une couche (4) d'un matériau élastiquement compressible. Entre cette couche (4) et la couche d'absorption d'impact (2), une calotte (3) est interposée. Cette calotte (3) est obtenue par étirage à chaud d'un matériau en feuille de 0,3 à 0,7 mm dont le module d'élasticité se situe entre 1800 et 3500 N/mm², dont l'allongement à la rupture est inférieur à 100% et dont la résistance à la traction se situe entre 30 et 100 N/mm².
