[origin: WO8404059A1] Apparatus for generating pulsations in a flowing liquid including a body (11) which has a first flow path (107) and a second flow path (113). The first and second flow paths (107, 113) each have an inlet end for communication with a liquid supply; and an outlet end. The first and second flow paths (107, 113) communicate at their respective outlet ends with a reaction zone (117) at which liquid streams issuing from the first and second flow paths impinge upon each other. The outlet ends of the first and second flow paths (107, 113) are so positioned in relation to each other that liquid issuing from the first flow path (107) has a component of motion and a direction which is opposite to the direction of liquid issuing from the second flow path. An outlet flow path (119) communicates at one end with the reaction zone (117). A shower rose incorporating such apparatus is also disclosed.

Appareil pour former des pulsations dans un liquide en écoulement, comportant un corps (11) doté d'un premier chemin d'écoulement (107) et d'un second chemin d'écoulement (113). Le premier et le second chemins d'écoulement (107, 113) possèdent chacun une extrémité d'admission pour permettre une communication avec une alimentation en liquide, ainsi qu'une extrémité d'évacuation. Le premier et le second chemins d'écoulement (107, 113) communiquent à leurs extrémités d'évacuation respectives avec une zone de réaction (117) où les flux de liquide provenant du premier et du second chemins d'écoulement entrent en contact l'un avec l'autre. Les extrémités d'évacuation du premier et du second chemin d'écoulement (107, 113) sont positionnées l'une par rapport à l'autre de telle façon que le liquide provenant du premier chemin d'écoulement (107) possède une composante de mouvement et une direction opposée à la direction du liquide provenant du second chemin d'écoulement.
