Bei einem Sitzmöbel mit Armlehne (2), die auf einem Armlehnenträger (1; 1') verstellbar angeordnet ist, kann der Armlehnenträger (1;1') in zwei unterschiedlichen Stellungen am Sitzträger oder Sitz (13) befestigt werden. Er kann entweder in einer schräg nach hinten oder schräg nach vorn aufwärts gerichteten Stellung montiert werden. Den unterschiedlichen Montagestellungen entsprechen zwei unterschiedliche Abstände (x bzw. y) des vorderen bzw. hinteren Endes des Armauflagebereichs (3) von der Vorderkante des Sitzes (13).
