Synthetic under-roof membrane in the form of a foil for steep- pitched roofs and the like, the roof consisting of beams and rafters, heat insulating material being arranged between the rafters, the rafters and the heat insulating material being covered on the inside of the roof by a vapour barrier foil and the rafters being covered on the outside of the roof by the under-roof membrane, on which are arranged a counter-lathing forming a ventilation space and a roof lathing which serves as support for the roof covering. As a result of the fact that the under-roof membrane (1) is formed from polyether block amides (PEBA) of the hydrophilic type, the under-roof membrane (1) being designed as a moisture store, an under-roof membrane is created, which, on the one hand, is so open to diffusion that it can be laid directly on the heat insulation irrespective of whether the vapour barrier is installed properly or at all, but, on the other hand, is also capable, in the event of impact loads, of preventing the negative effects of water vapour condensing out, and finally permits material-saving, large-scale cost-effective manufacture. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Unterspannbahn aus Kunststoff in Folienform für Steildächer und dergleichen, wobei das Dach aus Balken und Sparren besteht, zwischen den Sparren Wärmedämmaterial angeordnet ist, auf der Dachinnenseite die Sparren und das Wärmedämmaterial durch eine Dampfsperrfolie und auf der Dachaußenseite die Sparren durch die Unterspannbahn abgedeckt sind, auf welcher eine Konterlattung unter Bildung eines Belüftungsraumes sowie eine Dachlattung angeordnet, welche als Träger der Dacheindeckung dient. Dadurch, daß die Unterspannbahn (1) aus Polyether-Block-Amiden (PEBA) des hydrophilen Typs geformt ist, wobei die Unterspannbahn (1) als Feuchtigkeitsspeicher ausgebildet ist, wird eine Unterspannbahn geschaffen, die einerseits so diffusionsoffen ist, daß sie unmittelbar auf der Wärmedämmung verlegt werden kann, unabhängig davon, ob die Dampfsperre ordnungsgemaß oder überhaupt eingebaut ist, andererseits aber auch bei Stoßbelastungen die negativen Auswirkungen von auskondensierendem Wasserdampf zu vermeiden in der Lage ist und schließlich eine materialsparende, großtechnisch kostengünstige Fertigung ermöglicht.
