In the printing head for a screen-printing machine, the printing doctor blade comprises a doctor blade carrier and an elongated support rail, which is inserted detachably into said doctor blade carrier and is made of a hard elastic material, and a profile strip made of soft elastic material. Said profile strip is attached to the edge of the support rail which is at the bottom in operation. A support profile which is made of a hard elastic material and is attached to the doctor blade carrier is provided for supporting the support rail. If the printing head bears an initial doctor blade which is provided for the purpose of improved ink distribution and is lowered alternately with the printing doctor blade, said initial doctor blade is of curved and swivellable construction.

Bei einem Druckkopf für eine Siebdruckmaschine besteht die Druckrakel aus einem Rakelhalter und einer in diesen herausnehmbar eingesetzten, langgestreckten Trageschiene aus einem hartelastischen Werkstoff und einer Profilleiste aus einem weichelastischen Werkstoff. Diese Profilleiste ist an der im Betrieb unten liegenden Kante der Trageschiene befestigt. Zur Abstützung der Trageschiene ist ein am Rakelhalter befestigtes Stützprofil aus einem hartelastischen Werkstoff vorgesehen. Sofern der Druckkopf zwecks besserer Farbverteilung eine Vorrakel trägt, die abwechselnd mit der Druckrakel abgesenkt wird, ist diese Vorrakel gekrümmt und schwenkbar ausgebildet.
