1. Agent for the electroless deposition of tin and/or lead, consisting of an aqueous solution of a tin salt and/or lead salt, containing a mineral acid and a sulphur-containing complexing agent for tin and/or lead, characterised in that the tin salt and/or lead sald is a characterised in that the tin salt and/or lead salt is a salt of a fluorine-containing mineral acid and the mineral acid is a fluorine-containing mineral acid and the solution has a pH of 0 to 3.

Zinn und Blei können einzeln oder gemeinsam stromlos aus wäßrigen Lösungen ihrer Salze abgeschieden werden. Solche Lösungen enthalten eine freieSäure, und ihr pH-Wert liegt im niederen Bereich. Die Lösungen enthalten ferner einen Komplexbildner, der mit Zinn oder Blei oder beiden Chelate bilden kann. Besonders geeignete Salz sind Salze von fluorhaltigen Mineralsäuren, und als Säuren sind fluorhaltige Mineralsäuren vorteilhaft. Die Lösungen sind auch bei niederen Temperaturen mit Erfolg verwendbar.
