Method of producing plywood cores, in which strips of wood (10) are supplied with glue and joined together to form a carpet of strips and are connected to one another in a heated pressure and glueing zone (4), characterized by the following features : a) a group of strips (10) which run parallel and are laterally spaced are delivered simultaneously ; b) the glue is supplied in the gap formed by the lateral spacing of adjacent strips ; c) the group of simultaneously delivered strips is attached jointly to the carpet of strips which is already present.
