[origin: EP0168086A1] The internal prefab service and supply shaft is connected gas- and water tightly to a transverse feed duct for service conduits. The duct is also gas-and water-proof. The duct and shaft are pref. prefab in one piece. The duct may be extended, using e.g. gas-and water-proof flanges. The duct end outside the building has a gas-and water-proof closure, with similar passages for the service conduits. The top of the service shaft has a similar closure, with a meter above it from which cables may extend to the consumer appliances.
