A filler body is further arranged in the stripper head, which affects the conveying flow through the stripper head so that the material being stripped is prevented from settling in a critical material settling area. Because the stripping blade extends over the entire width of the drum and the filler body is arranged in the stripper head, the discharge capacity of the pneumatic discharge apparatus is very high, and the sealing problems usually arising in vertical stripper centrifuges are largely eliminated.
