[origin: EP0168946A1] Earth-moving vehicle which performs the functions of excavator and loader both carried out at the same end of the chassis thereby avoiding duplication of operator seating and controls. The excavator/loader has an operating arm in two sections (6, 9), the first of which (6) may be pivoted into a position which is roughly vertical or inclined rearwardly, for the loading function. The first arm section can be pivoted forwards for the excavating function.
